Found It
For quite awhile I have been looking for a coconut juice that I could enjoy. Coconut juice is a healthy drink. It's good for potassium, anti-aging and dehydration. I don't like it when it has pulp. I've tried different brands even one that had espresso in the coconut juice. OMGosh was that awful. Finally I found one called Coco Libre. It's labeled as a pure organic coconut water. I found it in my local grocery store in the vegan/juice section. It has 60 calorie, 120 mg of sodium, 680mg of potassium and no fat grams. My local grocery store had it for $1.99 for 11 fl. oz. Here's a link to their site http://cocolibreorganic.com/. I took a picture of the bottle I bought, but for some reason it's not showing up. I'll try again later to post the picture. If you follow me on instagram I did post the picture last week.

Daniel Fast
Yesterday I went for my first day of training this week. I should have gone again this morning before the rain started, but I was lazy. It looks like I will have to train on Saturday and Sunday. I've decided to the Daniel Fast for 10 days. I'm doing it for spiritual clarity, and to overall feel better. If you don't know what the Daniel Fast is. The meal plan is mostly veggies and fruits. Plus you take the time to deepen your faith. You can find out more details about it here. Next week I plan to add one or two days of cardio on the days I don't train. Mostly likely it will be one day for next week and then the following week two days. Slow and steady is my plan when it comes to exercise. I finally found a coconut juice I like. I'll share it tomorrow. I hope everyone is enjoying their day.

Too Big To Fail
I'm doing a personal writing challenge on Pacifiers, Pumps & The World. I felt that today's challenge really speaks to how much I have progress in being my organic self. So I decided to share it here also.
Today writing challenge comes from The Daily Post. The question is:
Tell us about something you would attempt if you were guaranteed not to fail (and tell us why you haven’t tried it yet).
I feel like this could be a number of things. I want to learn to ride a bike, but I'm worry at my age if I fail and fall. The injuries and recovery won't be pretty. Honestly if I had to answer this question a couple of years ago. The list would be long but my attitude is different now. I know there are a lot of things that I'm going to attempt and may not be successful the first time around. It's part of life. I might go into it cautiously, but it's not going to stop me from not trying it. Not doing something because you don't have a guarantee to not fail is a fail in itself. So yes I will attempt to learn how to ride a bike. I will make sure I'm padded as much as possible. It was such a great experience seeing my daughter learn to ride a bike. As much as I'm nervous about it. It won't stop me from giving me a chance.

Out of Breath
I loved day two of training. Oh boy I can feel how out of shape I'm in. The good thing is that I know if I stick with it. In a few weeks I can push myself even more. I enjoyed the quiet time. Quiet time at home doesn't exist with 3 year old twins. It really reminded me of much I miss running. It was a good to feel my legs aching by the time I got home. Tomorrow will be the final day for week one. I'm taking it one training day at a time.

Training Day
Yesterday was my first day training. One thing I need to get right away is a new running sneakers. The sneaker I have not the right one. It felt good to start. Although I had to keep it a brisk walk for the whole time instead of the 2 min. jog. My ankle is still giving me trouble, but that's okay. I'm not going to use that as an excuse. Plus, I want to buy an insert for my sneakers (and shoes) for more support. Tomorrow is day two. Its the same:
5 min brisk walk
2 min jog
5 min brisk walk
